Here is a beautiful, delicate and ultra-feminine scarf, which is Rikke’s take on her new, favorite scarf. The talented Rikke Jönsson, who runs the gorgeous Instagram profile @handmade__by__rj, is the woman behind the design idea for the stunning Rikke series. This lovely scarf is a natural extension of both Rikke Summer Top and Rikke Sweater.

The scarf is knitted in a beautiful rib pattern with an integrated lace motif that characterizes the Rikke collection. The ribbing stretches considerably with washing and blocking. The scarf can be worked in one strand of Önling No 2, our exceptionally soft merino wool yarn, or Önling No 4, our new organic merino wool - both are perfectly soft for scarves.

Materials Önling No 2
75 g / 3 balls Önling No 2, 100% merino wool, 25 g = approx. 131 yards (120 meters), weight: sport

Work with one strand throughout. 

Recommended circular needles size 3,5 mm / US size 4

Gauge 25 sts and 31 rows in rib pattern on 3,5 mm / US size 4 needles = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in after washing and blocking

Procedure
The scarf is worked back and forth from tip to tip, with i-cord edges on both sides. Increases and decreases are worked on one side only of the scarf.
